Start, pause and stop a recording; ask questions and hear answers; control supported screens by voice. A clear confirmation is requested before actions that save.
Know what the microphone means
With wake-word detection enabled, the phrase is checked on your device. The wake-word audio is analysed in memory and is not recorded, stored or sent by Urania. Android displays a notification while the feature is active. After detection, your spoken request uses the speech-recognition service configured on your phone; that service may process speech online. Listening pauses while Urania records, in Battery Saver, on low battery and when the phone is hot.
Choose when to turn it on
Voice activation is off until enabled in Settings › Voice & Activation and can be turned off there. A separate option for voice-started recording while the app is closed is off by default; when enabled it records until you stop it, with no transcription or sending before you open Urania. Voice commands do not use Urania Online credits. No verified UI screenshot or device demonstration is available yet.
