Your data stays under your control
Urania does not operate a central service for collecting ordinary recordings, documents, images, transcripts, conversations or AI prompts. Information may be stored locally for features you use. Voluntary Feedback is deliberately sent to Athvani.
Cloud AI connects you to your chosen provider
Urania uses credentials you supply to send the information required for requested processing to that provider and receive its response. Provider terms and privacy practices apply.
On-device AI keeps supported AI processing on the phone
When a supported downloaded on-device model is selected, processing performed by that model occurs on your device rather than a cloud AI model.
Cloud AI may suit demanding tasks
Server infrastructure may provide faster processing or stronger results for larger or complex inputs. Actual results depend on provider, model, task, input and network.
On-device AI prioritizes local processing
Supported local processing can avoid sending content to a cloud AI provider, but may take longer or have lower capability for demanding workloads.
Device resources
Demanding on-device AI can use processor, memory and battery. Your phone may become warm and processing may slow; behaviour varies by device and model.
Internet access is not the same as cloud AI
Downloading an on-device model requires internet access, but that does not mean later supported local model processing is sent to cloud AI.
Model backup is not personal-content backup
Model Backup & Restore concerns supported downloaded AI model files, not recordings, transcripts, chats, documents, images, History or API keys.
Your choice
Where supported, choose on-device or configured cloud AI according to privacy, connectivity, speed and capability priorities.
Detailed Privacy Policy
Introduction
This policy describes how Urania processes information when you use the application.
Scope
This policy applies to the Urania Android application. Athvani.com website behaviour is described separately below where relevant.
Information Urania Processes
Depending on the feature you choose, Urania may process audio, recordings, images, documents, text, prompts, transcripts, generated content, reminders, settings and diagnostic information.
Information Stored Locally
Features may store application information locally on your device, including supported History, preferences, model files and logs.
Audio and Recordings
Audio you deliberately record or select is processed according to the AI option and feature you choose.
Images and Documents
Images and documents you deliberately provide are processed for the requested feature. They are not automatically attached to ordinary Feedback.
Transcripts and Generated Content
Transcripts and generated results may be retained locally where supported by Urania features such as History.
AI Processing
Urania can use supported on-device models or configured cloud AI providers depending on the operation and your selection.
On-device AI
When a supported downloaded on-device model is selected, AI processing performed by that model occurs on your device rather than sending that content to a cloud AI model. Other surrounding operations may still require network access.
Cloud AI Providers
When you configure a supported cloud provider, Urania uses credentials you supply to construct and send the information required for the requested processing and receive the response. The provider’s service, terms, privacy practices and data-handling practices apply. Athvani does not operate that third-party AI service.
API Keys and Provider Configuration
Cloud-provider credentials are supplied by you for configured providers. This policy does not make claims about encryption or storage guarantees beyond the verified implementation.
Reminders / Calendar
Reminder and calendar features may process information you enter and may use Android calendar access where the feature requires it and permission is granted.
History and Local Data
Supported History and related application data may be stored locally on the device.
AI Model Backup & Restore
Backup & Restore concerns supported downloaded AI model files. It does not automatically back up recordings, transcripts, chats, documents, images, History or API keys.
Feedback Submitted to Athvani
When you deliberately submit Feedback, the information you enter is transmitted to Athvani to review feedback, understand reported problems, evaluate suggestions, improve Urania and respond when you voluntarily provide contact information. A normal feedback submission is limited to feedback type, optional subject, message, optional contact email and relevant application version where appropriate. Ordinary feedback does not automatically attach recordings, transcripts, documents, images, chats, API keys, History or device files.
Logs and Diagnostics
Urania may maintain local activity, error and diagnostic logs used by application features and troubleshooting.
Network Access
Internet access can be used for operations such as cloud AI, model downloads and voluntary Feedback. Internet use by itself does not mean ordinary content is being sent to a cloud AI provider.
Third-Party Services
Third-party services you choose, including cloud AI providers, operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Data Storage
Urania does not operate a central service for collecting ordinary users’ recordings, documents, images, transcripts, conversations or AI prompts. Information may be stored locally as required by features. Voluntary Feedback is intentionally sent to Athvani.
Retention
Retention can depend on local application behaviour and third-party services you choose. No fixed retention period is stated here without final implementation/owner verification.
Deletion / User Control
Use available application controls and Android storage/application controls to manage supported local data. Third-party provider data handling is governed by the provider.
Security
Athvani aims to use appropriate technical practices, but this policy does not claim unverified certifications, encryption guarantees or absolute security.
Children's Privacy
This section requires final legal/editorial review before public production release, including any jurisdiction-specific age wording.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
If the bundled policy version changes, Urania can require acceptance of the current policy version.

Website privacy
Athvani.com is initially privacy-minimal: no analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, non-essential cookies, third-party embeds or external font requests are intentionally included. Hosting infrastructure may produce operational logs. The Support Feedback form sends the information you deliberately enter to the Athvani feedback function; server-side email delivery requires a configured transactional mail provider.
